Where there's smoke........

Once again the rumor mill is abuzz with speculation that Lenovo will acquire BlackBerry (BB). In the classic spirit of “buy on the rumor, sell on the news” investors are buying BlackBerry stock and raining the price. The price of BB stock has gone up over 25% this year mostly because of the the Lenovo rumors.

Lenovo big wigs are making cautious statements and BB execs are denying there is anything going on. It has the look and feel of something going on in the background and it won’t surprise anyone when the deal is announced.
