Acer Chromebooks
The introduction of MSFT Windows 8 last fall was supposed to generate a surge in sales of new computers and for some manufacturers it did. Acer, the big PC maker from Taiwan, found that since Win8’s introduction there has been a significant surge in sales of...... Chromebooks! Chromebooks are outselling Win8 notebooks sold by Acer by 5 to 1. Win8 remains a robust slug with slow sales and disgruntled users. I’m sure there are people out there who love Win8 on a notebook or desktop but I’ve never met one.
Chromebooks, however, are a much better buy. The hardware costs less and the software is free. I have used a Chromebook every day for well over a year and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a new laptop to take a long look at a Chromebook. You’ll become a convert.
