Google Play vs. Apple App Store

The Q4 numbers for revenue increase by the two major app stores show a big change in market share. The iFruit store still has more apps and makes more revenue.... but not for long. Apple had a 20% increase in revenue and that sounds great until you compare it to the 200% increase by Google!! Android apps are rapidly gaining on Apple and we predict they will be number one in another year.

With Android phones dominating the smartphone market with 70% of the global market and the influx of new tablets that will have the Play store on them, it’s a no brainer to us. Android will continue it’s meteoric rise for the foreseeable future and that will be a good thing for us all.
