How do you feel about this?

Now in its 15th year of providing affordable tax preparation solutions, TaxACT® offers fast, easy filing and affordable solutions for original and amended 2010, 2011 and 2012 tax returns.

The U.S. Department of Treasury and IRS announced yesterday that all American couples legally married in jurisdictions recognizing their marriages can file federal tax returns using either married filing status. The ruling applies to upcoming 2013 tax returns due April 15, 2014 as well as original and amended returns meeting the statue of limitations for filing a refund claim (2010, 2011 and 2012 returns).

TaxACT Deluxe 2010, 2011 and 2012 include unlimited tax help by email and phone, plus accuracy and maximum refund guarantees. Although the IRS does not accept e-filed 2010 and 2011 returns, or amended 2012 returns, taxpayers can still e-file original 2012 federal returns with TaxACT.

These tax law changes will be included in Preview versions of TaxACT 2013, releasing in October for calculating 2013 taxes and year-end tax planning. Final versions with the latest IRS forms and any last-minute tax law changes, as well as state editions, will be released in early January.
