More thoughts on crapware

I just spent a pleasant evening watching an old Miss Marple movie while removing all of the crapware from one of our test Netbook computers. I'm sure it makes economic sense for the vendors to load expensive time-bomb versions of MSFT and Novell products on computers but it drives me crazy! Think about it, someone buys a $3-400 Netbook because they want light and simple. Why on earth would they want to load it up with the latest bloated incarnation of the ultimate fatware - MSFT Office?!?
