ATC Strike
Today is August 3rd, the 33rd anniversary of the Air Traffic Controller strike of 1981. The greatest President of the 20th Century, Ronald Reagen, was forced to fire over 12,000 controllers when their union, PATCO, forced his hand. I was a controller then and saw many, many of my close friends fired.
