The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active recently launched as the more rugged version of the Galaxy S6 flagship, boasting powerful specs and dual-mode wireless charging support.
Wireless charging may not be expanding at the rate many consumers would like, but it's nonetheless growing at its own rate. While many devices still don't come with wireless charging capabilities, an increasing number of smartphones are joining the trend and offering this extra convenience, no longer requiring users to get tangled up with cables and stuck to a wall socket.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is one of the devices that offers more convenience in that regard, as it supports wireless charging just like its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge siblings. The rugged handset supports both popular charging standards — Qi and PMA.
