There are many external chargers available today to solve the problem of keeping our devices operational when we’re away from electrical outlets.
One of the better solutions is the XT Charger from myCharge. The device is handy to hold, about 3” X 2.5” in size. It is solid and attractively designed with a red front and back and a black binder around the edge.
Most external chargers do just fine for a smartphone, and so does this one. But if you have a tablet, you need more capability. The XT Charger has two USB charge outlets, one for smartphones and the like, the other for a tablet, providing a higher rate of charge.
There are retractable prongs that fit into any wall outlet to bring the charger up to its full 600 mAh capacity. There is a set of four small LED lights that indicate the degree of charge that is available, 25% for each one. You can check the degree of charge by pressing a black button on the case to see how many of the LEDs light up.
You simply use the cable for your smartphone or tablet to plug into the charger and charging starts automatically. You can even charge two devices at the same time.
The case is quite durable, being drop-proof, dirt-proof and splash-proof.
