COMDEX, CRN and CES

I remember when COMDEX stood for the COMputer Dealers EXposition and CRN was the Computer Resellers News. It now looks like the Consumer Electronics Show is now merely CES. This caveat is included in all of the correspondence we receive from the CEA (also known as the Consumer Electronics Association) :

Note to Editors: The official name of the global technology event is “International CES.” Subsequent references to the show can be shortened to “CES.” Please do not use “Consumer Electronics Show” to refer to the International CES.

In case you’re wondering, we are still calling ourselves the Monthly Computer Chronicle but use MCC just as often.
