Earlier this week we had a discussion in our offices about MSFT and their proposed DRM changes for the new Xbox One. We specifically were talking about the need to have MSFT check your system daily to make sure no hanky-panky was going on.
Our gaming expert assured us that this would never happen because the gamer world would rebel and MSFT couldn't risk losing all of that money. As it turns out, he was right.
This week MSFT announced another change in policy and they will no longer require the daily system check to insure compliance. Once again good wins out over evil!!
