CES Unveiled

Last night was the first night of evening events at CES. The opening night press-fest is the official Unveiled event and, as usual, it was a zoo. There are always far too many press crammed into the event space, a logical situation since there are no competing events! We did get to see all of the vendors at the event that we wanted to see so it was worth the time and effort. It also gave us a chance to catch up with all of our staff that are here and do a bit of planning. The two most noticeable trends in my opinion are in the areas of audio and in connectivity. It seems like every other vendor had new speakers or headphones to play all of the music and video you download or stream. The other vendors had products that take advantage of your constant connectivity. You're not constantly connected to the internet? Shame on you. It's time to join the 21st Century and get with it!!
