One of the oddest things I saw at the 2014 International CES was the presence of pizza companies. At first I thought that the booths were representatives of other companies and they were using Pizza Hut as a lead in. Nope, they really were Pizza Hut and other companies.Why were they there was my obvious question.
It turns out they were there to promote their online ordering system. Ordering online is faster and much more accurate than ordering by phone and they wanted people to know about their system.
I must admit that I only order pizza (and chinese take-out for that matter) online. There are always coupons and deals available so it’s faster, easier and cheaper. A definite win-win if you ask me.
