It looks like my favorite browser, Mozilla's Firefox, may be in real trouble. Their market share has been steadily declining while the Chrome browser keeps gaining on them and is only a few percentage points behind right now.
Consider these facts:
1- the Mozilla partnership with Google ended in November
2- 84% of Mozilla's income in 2010 came from Google
3- Chrome is a Google product
4- key members of the Firefox team have jumped ship lately
5- many Firefox users, myself included, have been displeased with the current update schedule
It may be a little early to say Firefox is dead and have a funeral but it doesn't look good to me. Personally I use both Firefox ad Chrome and like them both and will continue to as long as they exist.
