Mastered for iTunes

By Chuck Hajdu

The iFruit company is introducing a new “high quality” music algorithm that they call Mastered for iTunes. The new format will create music files that go well beyond what young, healthy ears can hear, and WAY beyond what older ears can hear.

The first question that comes to mind is: why bother? The answer, to me, is obvious. More control for the iFruit company! Companies that supply the improved files to the iFruit company to produce the 256kbps AAC files will be helping create a more closed and tightly controlled iFruit iWorld.

I will admit that my hearing is just about shot from many years of shooting and wearing a headset as an Air Traffic Controller so enhanced music range really doesn’t matter to me. I guess the young people who are the biggest iFruit fanz will embrace the new format and spend lots of money on new music.
